Rockabilly Hairstyles
Dating back to the late 1930’s, 1940s and early 1950s, one will find a large number of people sporting the rockabilly hairstyle. It was largely popular with teens and young adults and was warn as a personal style, loving classic cars and rock n’ roll. Both women and men’s hairstyle alike were worn up high in the front and closer to the head around the sides. Men of that era were cool cats often combing the hair sides back and slicking it with grease. A popular rockabilly hairstyle for women was curled or waved along the back of short to mid length hair.
